This reconstruction of a congested arterial near the University of Oregon included a one-way traffic lane and a two-way bicycle/skateboard path separated by parallel parking. The work entailed significant traffic and pedestrian control measures, demolition, utility relocation, tree removal, cold planing, general excavation, erosion control and tree protection, 3 to 6-inches of aggregate base, PCC sidewalks, drives, valley gutter and curbs, storm and sanitary sewer installation, catch basins and vaults, ADA corners, subsurface electrical, asphalt paving, permanent marking, signage, meter posts, and landscaping and tree wells.
