This project entailed the construction of a completely new waste water treatment facility consisting of 200,000 cubic yards of excavation and 20,000 cubic yards of concrete; headworks, blower and control buildings; new vertical loop reactor; three 140 foot diameter secondary clarifiers; new chlorine contact basin and W3/hypochlorite treatment building; overhaul of existing influent pump station facility and outfall structure; and conversion of existing IR/AD structure to a cannibal system.
